The bouquet is broad and complex, with ripe red fruit such as cherry and plum, sweet spices, vanilla and a light touch of cocoa. On the palate it is full-bodied and velvety, with soft, well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is long and persistent, leaving ripe fruit and spice.
