Roughstock Montana Spring Wheat Whiskey is an American wheat whiskey made at Montana's first legal distillery since Prohibition, in the shadow of the Bridger Mountains. It is made from 100% hard spring wheat grown in fields around the distillery, double distilled, and bottled at 45% in a 75cl bottle.
The whiskey is matured in oak casks that previously held malt whisky.
The nose is gentle honey, bright lemon zest and fresh grain, with light oak. The palate is lightly sweet wheat with vanilla, a touch of citrus and delicate spice. The finish is clean, dry and lingering, with grain and honey.
