A single cask Jamaican rum distilled in 2006 at Long Pond Distillers in Trelawny Parish. It was made by pot still from molasses and spent 14 years in ex-Bourbon American white oak in Jamaica's tropical climate, followed by two further years in a first-fill ex-Bourbon cask under continental conditions in Liverpool. The outturn was 386 bottles.
The nose brings green banana, ripe pear, vanilla, marzipan and figs. The palate shows ripe banana, salted pistachios, liquorice, allspice, Szechuan pepper and fresh ginger. The finish is long and smooth, with nuts-and-fruit milk chocolate, coffee, barrel char and pear candy.
