Royal Tiger Indian Single Malt is the original expression from Ocean King Distillers, the Henriques family distillery in Goa, India. It is made from six-row barley grown in the Himalayan foothills and spring water from the family estate, and it matures in newly charred American white oak in Goa's tropical climate. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose brings sweet malt and tropical fruit, then delicate floral notes, vanilla and toasted oak. The palate is smooth and velvety, with caramel, honey, ripe stone fruit, nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, with malt sweetness, toasted oak and a little smoky wood.
