Rum Nation 21 Jahre is a 21-year-old rum from Panama, made from molasses and continuously column distilled. It matured for 21 years in American white oak casks previously used for American whiskey, and is bottled at 42% vol. without colouring and without chill filtration. It comes in a black decanter with a black gift box bearing a world map motif. Dark sugar cane, tobacco and vanilla meet gentle tropical fruit on the nose, with figs, dates, honey and chocolate on the palate, then bergamot, coffee and black tea. Cinnamon and fine pepper shape the lasting finish.
