Rumclub Edition 23 Barbados 2000 BMMG (50cl, 54.4%)

A single cask rum from Barbados, distilled in 2000 at Mount Gay in a pot still from molasses. It carries the BMMG marque, standing for Barbados Main Mount Gay, and was matured under continental conditions for 21 years before bottling. Limited to 292 bottles, it is an aged rum with tropical fruit, oak complexity and mild honey sweetness. The nose shows pleasant fruitiness and slightly sweet honey notes, the palate brings a basket of tropical fruit with complex oak notes and mild honey sweetness, and the finish is soft and reminiscent of Rockley style.
