Sakurao – Sauternes Cask

This is a Japanese whisky from Sakurao, matured in a Sauternes cask. The nose offers honey, tropical fruits and vanilla, with a hint of spice. On the palate there is a mix of ripe yellow fruits with some spice and vanilla, and a fine note of salt shows in the background.
