Sakurao Single Malt Japanese Whisky (70cl, 43%)

Sakurao Single Malt is a Japanese whisky from the Sakurao Distillery in Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery sits where the warmth of the Seto Inland Sea meets the Chugoku Mountains, and the whisky was matured in a variety of casks. It has a dark amber colour. The nose offers raisins, citrus and stone fruits. On the palate there is creamy vanilla with subtle bitterness and acidity, and the finish brings smoky oak and lingering sweetness.
