Sall TØRV 2.3 is a three-year-old peated single malt from the Danish distillery Sall, and the third release in its TØRV series. The malt is smoked with bog peat from Moseby, and this batch was bottled at 52.5% ABV in a run of 445 bottles.
It matured in bourbon, oloroso sherry and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The sweetness of the oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks balances an elegant smoke, and the peat brings sweet and floral notes as well.
