Samuel Gelston's 12 Year Old is an Irish single malt, matured for twelve years and bottled at 40% ABV. It is a light, fresh whiskey with fruit, sweetness and gentle spice.
The nose has fresh florals, green apple and citrus zest, with vanilla, creamy caramel and soft malt. On the palate it is bright and fruit-forward, with orchard fruits and tropical hints of pineapple and passionfruit, alongside butterscotch, sweet oak and a little ginger spice.
The finish is light but lingering, with fruity sweetness and gentle spice.
