Himmelberg Malt is a Swiss single malt from Brauerei Locher, made at the foot of Mount Säntis in a 50cl bottle.
It is distilled and matured in the Appenzell Alps, and the whisky rests only in old beer casks. It is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured.
The nose brings fresh malt, honey, vanilla, light caramel and orchard fruit, with gentle herbal and floral notes. On the palate there is sweet malt, toffee, cereal and a touch of spice, and the finish is clean and warming with malt sweetness, light pepper and dry oak.
