Sazerac de Forge XO is a Cognac from the revived house of Sazerac de Forge & Fils, founded in 1782, with its estate at Segonzac in Grande Champagne. It is bottled at 43% ABV.
It is a blend of eaux-de-vie aged well beyond the 10-year XO minimum, with some components over 20 years old, matured in French oak barrels. It is the flagship of the modern range.
The nose offers toffee, marzipan, baked berries, toasted almonds and rose petal. On the palate come citrus, tropical fruit, caramel and spice.
