Scapa – 21 Year Old Small Batch (70cl, 52.9%)

Scapa 21 Year Old Small Batch is a single malt from Orkney, matured in first-fill American oak casks and bottled at 52.9% without chill-filtering, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery lets its wash ferment for close to a week before distillation, a long time that develops the aromas of the whisky. The Orkney climate and a long, steady maturation add depth. Fruity and tropical notes run through the tasting, alongside pastry notes, and the finish is long, sweet and spicy.
