Scapa – Glansa Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Scapa Glansa is a single malt from the Orkney islands, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The name is an Old Norse word for shining, storm-laden skies, a nod to the changeable weather on the island. The whisky was aged in American oak and then rested further in peated casks. This is the first peated release from the distillery, and this bottle comes from batch GL07. The producer describes rich warm heather honey and soft fruits, leading to a subtle smoky finish.
