Scapa – The Orcadian Skiren (70cl, 40%)

Scapa The Orcadian Skiren is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Scapa distillery, which stands on the largest of the Orkney islands. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Townsend and Macfarlane chose the isolated island in 1884 to distil Scapa whisky. They were drawn by its rough climate and by the legendary sites of worship left by Druids and Vikings. Fierce sea winds, stunted trees, Bronze Age remains and many mysterious stone arrangements still shape the landscape.
