A Kentucky straight bourbon from the independent bottler Seelbach's, finished for four months in a Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon barrel from Aonair Winery. Only 240 bottles were produced, at 65.05% ABV (130.1 proof).
Strawberry jam and molasses show on the nose, with dried fruit from the Cabernet. The palate is syrupy and viscous, with strawberry, dried fruit, white pepper and buttered toast, and the wine tannin adds structure. The finish is long, with toasted oak and warmth.
