Shibui 15 Year Single Grain Sherry Oak Whisky (75cl, 43%)

Shibui 15 Year Single Grain Sherry Oak Whisky is a single grain whisky from Okinawa, Japan, bottled at 43% in a 750ml bottle. It is distilled from indica long-grain rice at Masahiro Distillery in a double stainless-steel pot still, after fermentation with Okinawan black koji. It matured for fifteen years in the subtropical Okinawan climate, in first-fill ex-Fino and Manzanilla sherry oak casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The aromas are plums, Belgian chocolate and macadamia nut, and the palate brings milk chocolate, caramel and macadamia nuts.
