This is a 15 year old single grain whisky from Shibui, made at Masahiro Distillery in Okinawa, Japan. The grain is 100% long grain indica rice, fermented with indigenous Okinawan black koji and yeast, then distilled in a double stainless-steel pot still.
It matures in ex-Fino and Manzanilla sherry oak and is bottled at 43%. The age is a minimum of 15 years.
It is described as chocolate-covered macadamia nuts with caramel whipped cream.
