Shibui Single Grain Small Batch 8 Year Old Sherry Cask Matured (43%)

This is a small batch Japanese single grain whisky from Shibui, bottled at 43% ABV. It is made from Indica long grain rice, fermented with indigenous Okinawan black koji and yeast, and distilled in a double stainless-steel pot still at the Masahiro Distillery in Okinawa. The whisky was matured in ex-Fino and Manzanilla sherry oak. It is described as showing chocolate-covered macadamia nuts and caramel whipped cream.
