This is Shinobu 15 Year Old Pure Malt, a Japanese whisky in a 70cl bottle at 43% abv. It is a special edition from the Shinobu Distillery, released to mark the Year of the Dragon in 2024.
The whisky is finished in Mizunara Japanese oak, and the barrel is said to bring out layers of flavour.
It is described as having a deep, floral and woody scent full of vitality, followed by a rich, satisfying flavour and a sweet, luscious aftertaste.
