Shizuoka United S Edition Summer 2023 (50cl)

Shizuoka United S Edition Summer 2023 is a Japanese whisky from the Gaiaflow Shizuoka distillery, in a 50cl bottle. It combines the distillates of the K and W stills, then undergoes a second distillation in the S still, a Scottish Forsyth. Peated and unpeated Scottish barley, Scottish beer malt and Japanese barley are all used. The bottle is slimmer than usual, which makes it easier to handle. The nose is chalky, with mashed banana, lemon juice and apple. The palate brings beeswax, apple, lemon and pink pepper. The finish is long and pristine.
