This is a single cask Highland malt distilled at Pulteney on 26 April 1990 and bottled by Signatory Vintage on 13 November 2002. It matured for 12 years in a single bourbon barrel, cask 25004, which yielded 347 bottles. The nose brings lemon zest, honeyed malt, vanilla cream, sea spray and gentle oak spice. The palate is clean and lively with a subtly maritime edge, and hints of toffee, citrus oils and barley sugar. The finish is lightly salted.
