Silkie Midnight Whiskey is an Irish whiskey made in Donegal and bottled at 46% ABV. It takes its inspiration from the Atlantic coast after nightfall.
It is matured mainly in bourbon casks, with dark wine and fortified wine influences. The result combines Irish smoothness with dark fruit, cocoa, spice and soft peat smoke.
The nose offers dark berries, cocoa powder, soft smoke and vanilla. The palate is rich and rounded, with black cherry, plum, dark chocolate and caramel. The finish is medium-long, with dark fruit, soft smoke and cocoa bitterness.
