Silkie The Legendary Ruby Port Cask Finish is an Irish whiskey inspired by the coast and folklore of Donegal. It takes the lightly smoky Silkie The Legendary and gives it a finishing period in Ruby Port casks. It is bottled at 46%.
The port brings red fruit sweetness and soft tannins, alongside gentle smoke, honeyed malt and subtle spice.
The nose offers red berries, ripe cherries, soft smoke and a hint of cocoa. On the palate come raspberry, plum, caramel and gentle peat smoke, and the medium-long finish carries red fruit, oak tannins and spice.
