Silver Oak Alexander Valley 2019 is a 14.2% red wine from Sonoma County, California, in a 75cl bottle. It is a blend of 95.5% Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and a little Malbec. The wine is aged in American oak barrels from Silver Oak's own cooperage, which adds a velvety texture and subtle spice. Decanting is suggested. The nose shows bay leaf and ripe dark berries. The palate is silky, with blackberry, cassis and hints of coconut and vanilla, and the spice lingers.
