Single Malts of Scotland Deanston 2008 12 Year Old (70cl, 56.5%)

A 12 year old single malt from Deanston, distilled in 2008 and bottled at 56.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is part of the Single Malts of Scotland range, which bottles only casks judged to have reached the required quality and character. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, so it keeps its original flavour and cask character. Deanston first opened in the late 1960s, and its fermentation and distillation give an elegantly waxy style.
