Smoke Wagon Desert Colt is a cask strength straight bourbon from Nevada H&C Distilling Co. in Las Vegas. Select barrels are blended in small batches, and the bourbon is bottled at 57.87% ABV with no water added and without chill filtration.
It was made to be approachable for its strength, with a fruit-forward character of candy and cinnamon spice and a measure of heat.
The nose offers warm caramel, toasted oak, vanilla bean and a hint of baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with brown sugar, dark cherry, cinnamon and charred oak. The finish is long and warming, with spice, leather and sweet vanilla.
