The name refers to a particular spot in the Smoke Wagon warehouse where these barrels aged. The batch is a blend of four whiskeys: 56% nine-year-old, 13% seven-year-old, 13% six-year-old and 18% five-year-old.
The nose is toasted oak, caramel and vanilla with a hint of dark fruit. The palate is rich and bold, with butterscotch, roasted nuts and warm spices that unfold into cocoa, dried cherries and cinnamon. The finish is long, with lingering oak, leather and a touch of sweetness.
