Smoke Wagon Rare and Limited 'Batch 1' is an 8-year-old straight bourbon from Nevada H&C Distilling Co. in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was the first bottling in the Rare & Limited series, released in 2017 at 59.45% ABV (118.9 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
The bourbon was drawn from just 11 barrels on the fifth floor of the warehouse.
The nose is rich and sweet, with toffee, semi-sweet chocolate, oak, cinnamon and a note of maraschino cherry. The palate is full and intense, with caramel, honey and butterscotch, then rye spice, earthy leather and oak. The finish is long, with cinnamon, oak and black pepper.
