Smokehead is a heavily peated single malt from Islay, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is not named on the label. It was selected and bottled by Ian Macleod Distillers, the company also known for Glengoyne and Tamdhu. The nose is led by smoke and peat, followed by spicy, sweet and fresh aromas. On the palate the peat smoke continues, joined by honey, chocolate, pineapple, green tea and herbs. The finish stays with peat, pepper and citrus.
