Contradiction is a bourbon from Smooth Ambler, made in West Virginia by blending two different bourbons. One is a wheated bourbon that was distilled twice; the other is a nine-year-old rye bourbon from Indiana.
The blend was aged for more than four years and is not chill-filtered. Smooth Ambler was founded in 2009.
The sweetness of the wheat is described as meeting the spice of the rye, with notes of leather alongside.
