Sonoma California Smoked Rye is a three-year-old straight rye whiskey from Sonoma, California. It is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colour. It is made from carefully chosen rye and a smoked malt treatment, which gives the spirit its pronounced smoky character. The nose is spicy with rye, light smoke and a hint of vanilla. The palate is powerful and complex, with oak, smoked wood and black pepper. The finish is long and dry, with a peppery warmth.
