Spey Fumare (70cl, 45%)

Spey Fumare is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a smoky malt, and what sets it apart is the lightness of the malt itself, which keeps the smoke elegant rather than heavy. The nose opens dry and ashy, then builds with baked citrus, lanolin and maritime peat. The palate is medium-bodied, creamy and sweetly sooty, and the finish brings citrus and apple tart together.
