Speyburn 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky aged for 16 years in American bourbon barrels. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The fruit character is joined by soft notes of vanilla, chocolate and honey from those casks, and the colour is a delicate gold.
The nose is full of fruit, with creamy vanilla and toffee and a touch of liquorice. The palate is medium-bodied, with vanilla, honey and chocolate. The sweet finish lasts, with a hint of oak spice.
