This is a 16 year old Speyside single malt from the Speyburn distillery, in a one-litre bottle at 40%.
It matured in ex-bourbon barrels made from American oak.
The nose is fresh, with green apple, honey, citrus, grain and a floral touch. The palate starts with pear and young fruit, followed by more spice, pineapple, vanilla and liquorice. The finish is fairly long, with a note of oak.
