Speyburn Bradan Orach is a Speyside single malt from the Speyburn Distillery at Rothes, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Speyburn is one of the smaller distilleries in Scotland, set in a wooded valley on the River Spey near Rothes, and it draws its water from the Granty Burn. Its founder, John Hopkins, wanted production to start in 1897 so that the distillery would have a whisky from Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee year. Soon after Christmas, with the building still without windows and doors, his team managed to fill a cask.
