Speyburn 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Scotland, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured for 18 years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is rich, with sweet cream toffee, roasted almonds and tropical fruit, alongside caramelised sugar, candied apples and very light notes of honey and smoke. On the palate it is creamy, with dark chocolate, caramel, gentle oak spice and a touch of lemon. The finish is medium in length, light and pleasantly bittersweet.
