Spirit of Scotland Caol Ila 2010 (70cl, 57%)

This Caol Ila is a single cask Islay single malt from the Spirit of Scotland collection, produced and bottled by James Gordon Whisky & Co Ltd, part of the Gordon & MacPhail portfolio. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2025 at a cask strength of 57% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It matured in a first fill sherry butt and was bottled with natural colour and without chill-filtering. The release is 613 bottles. The nose is sultana and blackcurrant with cured meat. The palate brings red berries, festive spices and blood orange, and the finish is bonfire embers.
