A 15-year-old single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown, matured in sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The sherry influence is plentiful, alongside spices, dried fruits and nuts.
The nose is rich and fragrant, with fruit salad, caramel, pineapple and guava, plus subtle dried leather and old rope. The palate is full and creamy, with fruit salad, exotic fruit, oaked tannins and a touch of spice. The finish is fairly long, with a gentle warmth.
