A 1967 Springbank from Campbeltown, distilled in April 1967 and bottled in January 1992 after 24 years in oak casks. It is a single malt at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is full of flowers, wax, several kinds of honey, resin and warm wood, with leather, tobacco, grated dried coconut, raspberry juice, fresh mint and orange liqueur. The palate is creamy, oily and honeyed with sherried touches, turning phenolic and resinous, with liquorice, mint drops, mastic and crystallised pineapple. The finish is long, with oak, vanilla, black tea and soft spices.
