Springbank – 22 Years Old That Boutique-Y Whisky Company Batch 16 Single Cask (50cl, 49.6%)

This is a 22 year old single cask Springbank from Campbeltown, bottled by That Boutique-Y Whisky Company as Batch 16 in a 50cl bottle at a cask strength of 49.6% ABV. The bottling came out in 2018, with 987 bottles filled. Its label shows Neil Ridley and Joel Harrison working at the old Porteus mill at Springbank. The bottler describes a nose of rich oak, cocoa, black cherries and toasted oats. The palate brings smooth toffee, tropical fruit and warm cinnamon, and the finish is dry and oaty, with roasted nuts and a faint note of burnt rubber.
