This is a 25 year old Springbank single malt from Campbeltown, an official bottling at 46% in a 70cl dumpy bottle. It was bottled in the 1990s.
The colour is dark amber. The nose opens with heavy coconut and fresh pastry alongside some peat, then turns buttery and creamy with hints of plantain and woody notes. The palate is bold and rich and quite spicy, with nutmeg, cinnamon, peach syrup and fresh apricot, leading to a long, bold finish.
