Springbank – 25 Year Old Single Malts of Scotland Director's Special

Springbank 25 Year Old Director's Special is a Campbeltown single malt bottled by Elixir Distillers as part of their Single Malts of Scotland selection. It spent its whole life in a single refill ex-bourbon cask. It was bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and presented in a decanter. The release was limited to 284 individually numbered bottles. Tasting descriptions mention maritime brine, gentle smoke and creamy malt, with bright citrus and vanilla sweetness.
