Signature Edition Sixteen is a small-batch single malt from St. Kilian in Rüdenau, Germany. It combines spirit distilled in 2018 and 2019 and was bottled in 2025 at 55.3% in a 50cl bottle, with an outturn of 4,860 bottles. The whisky matured in four kinds of Portuguese fortified wine cask. Those that held Madeira and Moscatel de Setúbal make up 34% each, with the rest from Tawny Port and Ruby Port casks. It is natural in colour and not chill-filtered. Peach, juicy pear, raspberry and grapes mark the nose, with vanilla cream and oak. The palate is fruity and creamy, moving into oak spice, black pepper and a touch of chocolate. The finish is long and velvety.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
