St. Kilian Signature Edition Seventeen is a limited German single malt in a 50cl bottle, with 4,398 bottles filled in 2025 at 54.6%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The spirit was made from Highland barley malted with peat smoke to 80ppm and distilled twice in copper pot stills. It matured in ex-rum casks from Barbados (10%), Jamaica (46%) and Mexico (17%), together with rhum agricole casks from Martinique (27%). The nose pairs gentle peat smoke with ripe apricot, sweet pineapple, juicy peach and a hint of banana, over vanilla cream, spicy oak and fine ash. Tropical fruit and oak spice follow on the palate with a touch of black pepper, and the finish is long, with fruit jam, vanilla and light ashy smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
