This is a smoky bottling from St. Kilian Distillers, made in honour of the actor Bud Spencer and bottled at 49% ABV. It is the peated version of the Bud Spencer – The Legend release.
The whisky was matured in American bourbon casks combined with Italian Amarone red wine casks.
The nose is spicy and smoky, followed by fruity wine aromas. The palate opens with clear sweetness and dominant smoke, then a light caramel note, spice and a pleasant dryness. The finish is full-bodied, spicy, smoky and long.
