St Kilian Classic is a German single malt from St Kilian Distillery, founded in 2012. The spirit is double distilled in Scottish copper pot stills and matured in ex-bourbon and ex-Spanish sherry casks.
Fruit leads the nose, with ripe apricot, peach, yellow plum and plantain beside creamy vanilla, fine oak spice, fresh mint and a little sage. The palate is sweet and warming, with apricot, peach, creamy toffee and spicy oak, a pinch of white pepper and a hint of mint. The finish carries creamy caramel, brittle, dry oak spice and delicate herbs.
