Grave Digger Field of Blood is a peated single malt from St. Kilian Distillers in Germany. It is bottled at 47% ABV in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose is bonfire smoke and charred wood with peat and earthy notes, plus subtle citrus and spice. On the palate the smoke is strong without overwhelming, with peat, vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate and a little fruit. The finish is long and warming, with black pepper and a pinch of salt as the smoke fades.
