St. Kilian Signature Edition Fifteen is a peated German single malt, distilled in 2020 and 2021 and bottled in 2025 at 53.3% abv in a 50cl bottle. The malt was smoked to 80 ppm phenols and matured entirely in former Amarone red wine casks from the Lenotti winery, in sizes of 50, 100 and 310 litres. Just 4,610 bottles were filled, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The nose shows red berries, dark cherries and ripe peach with sweet peat smoke and a touch of vanilla. Dark cherry, redcurrant and cocoa come through on the palate, and the long finish brings red fruit jam, dark chocolate and lightly drying tannins.
