Artemis is the Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, here in the 2022 vintage in a 3-litre double magnum. It is named after the Greek goddess of the hunt, a nod to the winery's search for the finest Napa grapes, and it blends estate-grown fruit with carefully chosen Napa parcels.
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars was founded by Warren Winiarski in 1972 in the Stags Leap District.
The nose has violet lift, ripe blackberry, chocolate and sweet spice. The palate adds black cherry, blueberry, cocoa, graphite and tobacco leaf, full-bodied but not heavy, with creamy tannins and a pretty finish.
